Members of BiH Presidency Received Delegation of Turkish National Assembly

IMG_0005 (2)Chairman and member of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović and Bakir Izetbegović received in Sarajevo today a delegation from the Turkish National Assembly.

The members of the Presidency wished the President of the National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Çiçek a warm welcome, and expressed gratitude for the continued support and assistance from Turkey to BiH.

Çiçek said that Turkey will continue to support BiH in its integration to EU and NATO and in regional cooperation.

Turkey remains with BiH in all its efforts to be a prosperious and stable country, which would cooperate well with countries in the region, it was said during the meeting.

They also said that there is much significant progress and expressed hope that BIH would fulfill the conditions that is expected in order to join the path to EU integration.

They talked about improving cooperation between BiH and Turkey, especially in the areas of economy, agriculture, energy, culture, education and tourism, and of the need for cooperation of the parliaments of both countries.

They underlined the importance of investing in BiH, establishing a favorable business climate and encouraging investors to continue to invest in the potential of BiH.

They spoke of the preparations for the upcoming trilateral meeting of BiH, Serbia and Turkey, which should be held in Turkey in May. They said that the meeting is of huge importance for Turkey, which hopes to build good bilateral relations with both countries.
