Members of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Border Police at Bosanska Gradiska International Border Crossing Station prevented the illicit traffic of 17 CEIA type Mil D1 metal detectors belonging to military equipment.

Military equipment was discovered during a thorough inspection of trailer on the second line of border checks. The vehicle was driven by a BiH citizen.

By searching the facilities used by the two Bosnian citizens in the Sarajevo area, GPBiH members found 13 more metal detectors and two more at another location, also in Sarajevo.

The Prosecutor in charge of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Judge of the Court of BiH were informed about this event. Due to the suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Weapons, Military Equipment and Dual-Use Products, a criminal report will be provided to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
