Members of SIPA arrested a Person on an Interpol Warrant

Members of the Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA) arrested a person in the area of Odžak for whom the Interpol of Germany issued a warrant for the criminal offenses of extortion and robbery.

The warrant was issued with the aim of arresting and extraditing the mentioned person to Germany, SIPA announced.

Based on operational information, members of SIPA, operational team “Fast”, located the mentioned person in the area of Odžak, after which he was arrested and brought to the premises of SIPA.

The arrest was made on Saturday, October 21, and was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIO) of the Posavina Canton. The arrested person was handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further proceedings within the legal term.
