Members of the orchestra and choir of the US Army Command for Europe and Africa are in Bosnia and Herzegovina this week, and today in Sarajevo they held a joint concert with members of the BiH Armed Forces Orchestra at the “Bascarsija Nights” Festival.

Members of both orchestras visited music schools in Breza, Mostar Stolac, Capljina, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Bijeljina, Bihac and Sarajevo and held a series of workshops for children and youth.

This is the first phase of the new project of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, which will donate musical instruments to music schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with both orchestras, the BiH Ministry of Defense and the American charity Spirit of America, it was announced in the press release today.
