The Memorandum of understanding and strategic partnership between FB&H Government and American Company “Howell Machine, Inc” in the field of production, development and trade of weapons and military equipment was signed today in Sarajevo.
The Prime Minister of FB&H Nermin Nikšić and Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Erdal Trhulj signed the Memorandum on behalf of the FB&H government and David Howell, the owner of the company “Howell Machine, Inc”.
After signing the Memorandum, Minister Trhulj stated that in the past three years significant progress in the development of military production in FB&H was achieved, whose volume increased from 40 million BAM in 2010 to 160 – 200 million BAM expected in 2013, which is far ahead the plans of the strategy of development of the military industry.
“We have concluded that with what we currently have available to achieve its maximum and in order of reaching a new step we should find a strategic partner, who would bring new technologies and new ways of managing the military industry”, stressed Trhulj.
He added that one of the solutions is strategic partnership with the company “Howell Machine, Inc”, which has been operating in B&H for more than a year.
