Memorial Hadžići faktor.baDay of the Police of Sarajevo Canton, 6th April, was marked by unveiling a memorial plaque with the names of 45 killed members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the building of the Police Station Hadžići.

This act was preceded by the laying of flowers at the central memorial of shaheeds and fallen soldiers of the Armed Forces of B&H.

These events were organized by the Union of Police of the Sarajevo Canton and the Association “Veterans of the Police of the Public Safety Station Hadzici”.

Memorial Hadžići faktor.ba 2“There is a lot of symbolism in this date. The capital of our country was liberated from fascism on this day, on this day the aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina officially began. There are many important events that cannot be analyzed in a short time, but we can take ourselves in the commitment and pledge to preserve and to remember what our brothers gave for this country. The memorial plate should be a lesson and a reminder to us and future generations not to forget”, said the Mayor of Hadžići Municipality Hamdo Ejubović.

The laying of flowers and discovering the memorial plaque was attended by representatives of local and cantonal authorities, representatives of MIA CS, families and comrades of fallen police officers, and many citizens, said the press service of Hadžići Municipality.
