President of the Confederacy of Trade Unions of Turkey ”Hak-Is” Mahmut Arslan talked in Ankara with the president of the Muslim Charity Organization ”Merhamet” Hajrudin Šahić and with his deputy Abdul-Kerim Fazlić about the international action ”Winter comes…Bread and one Blanket for Syria” what will soon start in BiH too.
The charity action in BiH is organised by ”Merhamet” and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of BiH (SSSBIH) in coordination with Anadolu News Agency.
Arslan thanked Šahić and Fazlić for participating in this charity action for Syrian refugees in Turkey.
Šahić said that ”Merhamet” will wholeheartedly support the action, noting that ‘’Merhamet’’ has already participated in a similar action of help for Syrian refugees in which 40 000 BAM of help was given to the Ambassador of Turkey Ahemet Yıldız.
‘’ Merhamet’’ is an experienced organisation when it comes to charity events. We’ve finished technicalities, opened an account in Turkish Ziraat Bank Bosnia Sarajevo and we have a charity number which will be presented at the press conference of ‘’Merhamet’’, SSSBiH and Anadolu News Agency in Sarajevo’’, said Šahić.
The aim of the international charity action ”Bread and Blanket for Syria” which was initiated by the Confederacy of Trade Unions of Turkey ”Hak-Is”, is to help the Syrian people in these cold winter days.
