MFA: Forty Citizens of BiH are currently in Ukraine

None of the BiH citizens currently in Ukraine is exposed to any direct danger, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina informed the Crisis Staff, which has been operating for some time and which is in constant communication with the citizens of BiH in Ukraine.

“We are in contact with a group of BiH citizens working for the OSCE and deployed in Ukraine. This morning we received information from the competent ambassador that none of them is currently exposed to any direct danger, but the situation is being monitored and how informed we are, OSCE will have a high-level meeting to discuss the situation and make some kind of recommendations and decisions regarding the staff in that mission, “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina said.

As they stated, it is a little more than 40 people.

The embassies in Moscow and Warsaw will be added to the embassy of BiH in Budapest, which covers Ukraine non-residently, and in order to other BiH. citizens, who may be on the territory of Ukraine, could provide assistance if they express the need, according to the BiH MFA.
