Michael Schumacher remains one of the greatest mysteries of Formula 1, but also of sports in general, and now, probably, the first positive news has been published when it comes to his recovery.
Very little is known about his health condition. It is known that he cannot communicate verbally, but according to media reports, there is a glimmer of optimism.
Journalist Stefan L’Hermitte said in an interview:
“We don’t know exactly what is happening. We know that he breathes and communicates with his family, but it seems that he does not speak and that no one has seen him walk. I wouldn’t say that he is well, but maybe he is a little better. All information comes exclusively from his closest circle.”
An interesting detail was also revealed in the same show. Schumacher’s signature appeared on a helmet that was made for humanitarian purposes.
“It is not known exactly how he managed to sign; maybe his wife helped him by holding his hand. But that is the first positive sign, almost a sign of life coming from him,” Stefan L’Hermitte added.
The legendary seven-time world champion was seriously injured on December 29th, 2013, while skiing in the French resort of Meribel, in the Alps. After the fall, he suffered severe head injuries and was in a coma for a long time, but survived thanks to emergency medical intervention.
However, the consequences were serious because the severe brain damage left him in a condition that requires constant care and supervision from the family.
Since then, Schumacher has lived completely withdrawn, far from the public eye, under the care of his wife Corinna, his children Mick and Gina, and close friend Jean Todt, Klix.ba writes.
