Marija Ana Milinković, football representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, new player of the famous Inter from Milan, pointed out that she feels great in her new environment.
“The feeling that accompanies me these days is phenomenal. My dreams are coming true, this is what I dreamed about and what I worked hard for all these years. Being part of the biggest club in Europe is a big thing. I am delighted how my new friends have accepted me teammates, but also the entire management of Inter. I must emphasize that it is a great relief that my Maja Jelčić is here, who is first of all a good friend of mine and only then a colleague from the club and the national team. I like the Italian language very much and I will try to learn it as soon as possible I learn sooner, although the whole team is understanding and I have no problems in communication,” said Milinković.
The former SFK 2000 soccer player from Sarajevo said that training at Inter is very demanding, which is what she expected before coming to Italy.
“Of course, that suits me, because only with hard and dedicated work can I learn a lot and progress. I will try to justify my expectations, as well as the expectations of all those who are always with me. SFK is my club, it will always be in my heart and I would like to be their best ambassador. I still don’t know when I could get the chance to make my debut, it depends on the coach, I hope it will be soon, but I just arrived and there will be an opportunity to show everything I know,” Milinković pointed out.
She also emphasized that she is thinking about the representative play-off matches against Sweden.
“Sweden is a very high-quality team and that double match will be a great experience for us. I am sure that we will do everything to provide the best possible game and confirm that we are not here by chance. I think that we have already made a great result, but there is no giving up and we should take advantage every opportunity that is given to us to go one step further,” said Milinković for the official website of the Football/Soccer Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FS BiH).
