The Olympic Center Jahorina awarded its millionth skier with a 10-day ski pass, which can be used until the end of the season.

The lucky winner was Valentina Carmo from Luxembourg, who has been enjoying skiing and mountain climbing on this mountain.

Ski Center Jahorina was the first one in the region that started working on December 3, and the number of skiers in comparison to the previous year was increased by a total of 48 %, while the ticket sales was increased by 90 % by the end of January. Moreover, all results from the last season have been exceeded by mid-February, as announced by the OC Jahorina.

General Director Dejan Ljevnaic stated that the OC Jahorina is proud of the fact that the millionth ride on the cable car was achieved already at the beginning of February, which represents another record in this ski season.

Besides the officially award ceremony, the director of the OC Jahorina invited everyone to participate in the humanitarian race “Ski for Life”, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, on the Poljice trail.

This charitable ski event on the new Jahorina trails will be realized in mutual cooperation with the foundation “Support the life”, and all the collected funds will be given to the treatment of ill children Petar Petrovic, Lola Medenica and Andjela Jankovic.
