Dodik in Potočari novovrijeme.baIn Potočari – a Bosnian town not too far from Srebrenica – another day of mourning has begun. The President of RS, Milorad Dodik, laid flowers at a local remembrance site, along with the Mayor of Srebrenica, Ćamil Duraković.

Dodik’s initial visit has been announced – and delayed – twice since the beginning of the year. This day would mark Dodik’s first visit ever to the site of tribulation of more than 8,000 Bosniaks.

Following the stay in Potočari, a planned meeting between Dodik and Duraković, and the president of the Assembly of the municipality of Srebrenica, Miloš Milovanović – who was elected in place of Radomir Pavlović, due to Pavlović’s dismissal mid-last year – is already underway.

This year, on July 11th 2015, will mark the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica – an incident that has resulted in numerous remains of victims not being found to this day.
