Zenica miners ended the strike they started on Monday, after they were paid their salary for June today.

Miners of the second shift of the pit plants “Raspotocje” and “Stara jama”, after a five-day strike, went to work, confirmed the president of the union Elvedin Avdic.

“We received a written notification from the director that the money was paid to the workers’ account, and we ended the strike. The miners are returning to work immediately, that is, already in the second shift,” said Avdic.

The accounts of the Zenica mine were blocked due to executive court rulings by the City of Zenica and eight miners. Blockades have been removed, and the miners will receive their salary and compensation for a hot meal for June today.
