Crnadak Malta nap.baMinister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak paid a working visit to Malta, where he met with the President of this country Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta George William Vella.

At the meetings, they discussed about ways to improve economic relations between the two countries that are at a negligible level and follow a downward trend in the past several years. Significant time was dedicated to topics that relate to the cooperation between BiH and Malta in the field of tourism. After the meeting, it was stated that the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Malta are already working on the implementation of an Agreement in the field of tourism.

During the meeting, Minister Crnadak said that BiH is strongly committed to the EU integration process and that despite the recent events regarding the referendum in Great Britain on the exit of that country from the European Union the EU integration process in BiH will not be terminated. His colleague, Minister George Vella, reminded that Malta will take over the chairmanship of the Council of Europe in the period from January 2017 until June 2017 and that as the chair country it will support the EU integration process of BiH.
