The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, will be in the United States next week, where he will hold a series of meetings with representatives of international financial institutions, the US administration and companies interested in investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“This visit is an opportunity to position Bosnia and Herzegovina more strongly as a reliable investment partner. We are focused on infrastructure projects, especially railways, but also on strengthening cooperation with institutions and companies that can contribute to our economic development,” said Minister Forto.

During the visit, meetings are planned with the management of the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank with the aim of improving cooperation on infrastructure projects and strengthening the investment environment in BiH.

Meetings with representatives of the US State Department are also planned, as well as talks with a number of companies that are considering potential investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
