Aida Hadzialic was born in 1987 in Foca, and she moved to Sweden as a five year old, where she now performs the function of the Minister of Education. She will come in the three-day visit to BiH, after which she will be visiting Croatia as well, as confirmed from the Embassy of Sweden in BiH.
Hadzialic is a lawyer by profession, and she got involved into politics when she was 16 years old. She is a member of the Social Democratic Union, and before the function of the Minister of Education, she was the deputy mayor of the Swedish city Halmstad.
This is the first official visit of Aida Hadzialic to BiH, where she will spend the next three days and meet with several political representatives of our country, and it is planned that she gives a speech at the University of Sarajevo, and to meet with high school students as well.
On Monday, Hadzialic will meet with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic, while the meeting of a delegation of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden is planned as well.
According to Swedish media, Hadzialic will talk about the Swedish model of education during the visit to BiH and Croatia, and its possible application in the Balkans.
