Austria will lift the ban on commercial flights from most Balkan countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of August 1st.

From tomorrow, regular flights to Austria will be allowed from Serbia, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

Also, as of tomorrow, Austrian Airlines will introduce flights between Sarajevo and Vienna, twice a week. It is important to point out that only BiH citizens residing in that country with a negative PCR test can enter Austria.

For third-country nationals who do not reside in Austria, an entry ban applies.

Exceptions are only entries through the Schengen area and certain countries, for seasonal workers, medical staff, diplomats and passengers in transit.
