Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton arrested the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of that canton, Denis Osmankić, this morning.
The action is being conducted by the USC Ministry of Internal Affairs, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of accepting a gift or other form of benefit, which is a corruption crime.
Searches have been conducted at several locations since this morning.
USC Minister of Internal Affairs Adnan Habibija commented on the arrest for BHRT, confirming Osmankić’s arrest for a corruption crime, and saying that at this moment, for the purpose of the investigation, he cannot provide more details.
