Minister Crnadak welcomed Sakamoto in BiH, wished him a successful diplomatic mission and expressed his hope that the relations between the two countries will be further improved  through new projects and activities that Japan will initiate in different fields in the upcoming period. He noted that it is very important for those projects to be represented equally in all parts of BiH.

Considering the fact that the political relations between the two countries are at a very good level, Crnadak stated that it is necessary to focus on economic issues and bring the two markets closer in the future period.

Minister Crnadak informed the Ambassador of Japan about the main foreign policy priorities of BiH – European integrations and regional cooperation. He stated that BiH is expecting to get the status of candidate for EU membership very soon and he further emphasized the importance of regional cooperation for stability and economic development of the region.

Sakamota thanked for the warm welcome, and he noted the desire of his country to invest in concrete projects in BiH in the fields of environmental protection, healthcare, education and culture.
