Minister of Foreign Affairs will Participate at the UN General Assembly in September

zlatko_lagumdzijaDeputy Chairman of the Council of  Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija will participate in the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in September, within the program that is designed for the foreign ministers.

“Minister of Foreign Affairs, in accordance with his status and portfolio, as well as the rules of the United Nations, does not need special pass for entering the UN building. Decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the composition of the delegation to the general debate does not affect the participation of the Minister Lagumdžija in a program that is foreseen for the Foreign Ministers”, was announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is recalled that the debate of the General Assembly of the UN is only the opening of the annual session of the UN General Assembly(68th Session)which will be attended by representatives of countries at the highest level. It normally takes seven to ten days and is only apart of the UN General Assembly.
