Minister Ramic: Story about Secession brought additional Uneasiness to the Returnee Community

The Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramic said that the recent special session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly and in this regard, the statements of the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, have brought additional uneasiness to the returnee community, but also among all well-intended citizens of this country.

“He uses these tactics partly to stabilize the political scene in the entity of RS and in order to divide the forces that are for him or are against him and for some of his other daily politics needs. On the other hand, the statements he uttered are very dangerous and they are a warning, and they should provoke, above all, a reaction from the international community, the OHR and those in charge of protecting peace in this country,” Ramic told FENA, commenting on Dodik’s statements at a special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska on the Office of the High Representative.

Of course, Ramic added, citizens should always be careful, but they should also continue with their everyday lives  When it comes to returnees, to work to stabilize their property and improve the quality of life in the areas where they live and the Ministry will always be happy to help them.

“I hope that what Dodik is doing, and the trends show that, will eventually fail, because each special session brings him fewer votes and support. This new play of his really serves only his purpose, but it obviously no longer finds the support of the opposition and it is encouraging, so I hope that this policy, which was defeated in Banja Luka, will be defeated throughout the RS entity and that the situation in BiH would finally be stabilized,” Ramic added.
