The traditional iftar dinner under the Old Bridge in Mostar brought together more than thousand young people and it was organized by Info – service for youth of the Majlis of the IC Mostar in cooperation with the Mufti of Mostar, the Union of Students of the University “Dzemal Bijedic”, KEC “Sehara” and City TV Mostar.

“To see that this iftar dinner is attended by young people from our whole mufti unit is more than satisfactory. We are very glad to be able to gather such a large number of young people. This is a great opportunity for them to meet, exchange some great ideas and plan some new joint projects that will be beneficial for our community, our people and our country,” stated Ilham Puce.

It is a great feeling to share the joy of iftar, and pass this beauty of the ambiance of family iftar to this beautiful scenery under the Old Bridge.

“Some joys are even more beautiful when experienced in this place, a place of the world cultural monument and a symbol of our cultural heritage,” noted Ilham Puce.

This is the sixth traditional iftar dinner organized under the Old Bridge, according to Nedim Hondo, one of the organizers and a member of Info – Youth Service of MIC Mostar.

“We had 600 iftar dinners last year, and we even needed more food. This year, we prepared a total of 1,000 iftars and we expect more than a thousand visitors. This is an open iftar dinner for everyone, regardless of the age, and we have both young and old visitors,” noted Hondo.

He also noted that the month of Ramadan is a month in which gatherings of young people are particularly emphasized, and this is another great opportunity for that.
