In May 2022, the 9th ‘Inspired by the Heart’ campaign was realized, organized by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank and Visa company.

It is a campaign that lasted 30 days and in which users of Visa Inspire and Visa Platinum cards through their use to pay for their daily needs, contributed to it because from each of their transactions, and without additional cost, the amount of 0.10 BAM was allocated. In this regard, the users of Visa cards of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank made a large number of transactions during this month, and this year the organizers will donate 38.000 BAM to charity.

”We at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank are very proud of every form of help from the society in which we operate, but the ‘Inspired by the Heart’ campaign is really something special for us because through it, together with Visa and our clients, we support places where life begins – maternity hospitals. From the first campaign until today, we have managed to set aside and donate more than 200.000 BAM, most of which was directed to maternity hospitals, while the rest in previous years was intended to help treat our fellow citizens, help for associations, schools, and the citizens of BiH after the relentless floods in May 2014. We are very happy that next year the ‘Inspired by the Heart’ campaign will celebrate its jubilee, and we are already announcing that it will be quite different from the previous ones,” said Marco Trevisan, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank.

In 2019, it was decided that the further focus of this campaign will be exclusively on maternity hospitals operating within hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). In this respect, since then the equipment has been donated to maternity hospitals operating in hospitals or health centers in Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Travnik, Gracanica, Sarajevo, Livno, Prijedor, Kakanj, and this year’s donation will be handed over to the Public Institution Zenica Cantonal Hospital and the Tuzla University Clinical Center, that is their departments of gynecology, Klix.ba writes.
