Sarajevo Canton government adopted a regulation on the internal organization of the Canton Civil Protection Administration, pursuant to which the members of the professional fire brigade (PVB) of the canton are integrated in the system of civil protection.

“After many years of independence, we are losing the status of an independent organization. Now we are a separate organizational unit within the Cantonal Administration for Civil Protection. Until now I have had two functions-Director and Commander, and now I am a Commander of the unit in charge of operations’’, said Ismet Tucak for Dnevni Avaz. He added that they are currently in the process of handover.

Tucak said that the makeup of the organization is completely different. According to him, they are currently in the process of joining the budget so that these days the procedure should be completed.
