More than 31,000 First Doses of Coronavirus Vaccine have been delivered in Republika Srpska

So far, more than 31,000 first doses of coronavirus vaccines and about 10,000 second doses have been delivered to health institutions in Republika Srpska, said the director of the Republic Institute of Public Health, Branislav Zeljkovic.

Zeljkovic said that vaccinations and revaccination of health workers employed in private health institutions, as well as parents of children with developmental difficulties, are underway at the Institute and regional centers.

“According to the vaccination plan, after the vaccination of citizens over the age of 65 is completed, the vaccination of persons with chronic diseases will begin,” Zeljkovic added.

He reminded that in the Republika Srpska, the vaccination officially started on February 12, and that according to the plan, health workers were first vaccinated in the covid wards in the hospitals of the Republika Srpska.

“Currently, vaccinations of persons older than 65 are underway in health centers in Republika Srpska.

“Most health centers in Republika Srpska have taken vaccines and are carrying out immunizations according to their plans,” says Zeljkovic.
