More than 500 participants started this morning on the first sailing of this year’s 48th International Tourist Una Regatta from Martin Brod to Strbacki Buk.
“With the help of the Federal Government, the American Development Agency “USAID”, and other partners, patrons and sponsors, we confirmed our international reputation and sign. More than 500 participants, in a total of 70 boats, set off for Strbacki Buk. Lunch for all participants was organized at the Kulen Vakuf, and we expect to arrive at the most attractive destination in the Una National Park in the afternoon,” said Amarildo Mulic, director of the Public Enterprise “National Park Una”.
A substantial supporting and entertainment program will be organized at Strbacki Buk.
“All participants and visitors of the camp will be entertained, and many animation events will be organized. However, we expect the peak of the regatta tomorrow, when more than 1,000 participants and 100 boats will start the second leg towards Bihac. I think another unforgettable night awaits us in Bihac,” added director Mulic.
Participants of this year’s edition of the regatta came from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regions, Europe, but also from other continents.
“The girl and I happened to be in Bihac and decided to register to participate in the regatta. We are already delighted at the beginning, and I hope that the good weather will also serve us,” these are the words of Andreas from Austria.
