Moscow warned Seoul against sending Weapons to Kyiv

Moscow has warned Seoul against sending weapons to Kyiv, stating that such actions will have irreversible consequences for bilateral relations, announced Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Considering Seoul’s announced plans to reconsider its stance on supplying lethal weapons to the Kyiv regime, we want to warn South Korea against taking reckless actions that could lead to irreversible consequences for Russia-South Korea relations,” Zakharova said on the sidelines of the 12th International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg.

She added that “Russia will not stand by and watch as South Korean weapons and military equipment are handed over to Ukrainian neo-Nazis for attacks on Russian territory and the killing of peaceful civilians.”

Zakharova urged the South Korean authorities to free themselves from their “maniacal dependence” on the United States (U.S.), to stop being a U.S. vassal, and to realistically assess the new situation on the Korean Peninsula.
