Mostar to get a Memorial Room dedicated to Martyrs soon?

Thanks to the persistence of the Association of citizens “Sinovi mahale (the Sons of Mahala) from Mostar, this town will get a memorial room dedicated to all martyrs from BiH very soon.

The association already started collecting donations and funds for the construction of a memorial room.

The project of memorial room was created by the architect Anel Jakirovic from Mostar and it is conceived as an exhibition space with a permanent setting of war photos placed on mobile easels, which will enable quick and easy transformation of the room into a hall with seating places and a projector that will allow watching of documentaries from war time period.

“This memorial room will be a place where citizens will be able to pay their tribute to war victims from all over BiH, while the post-war generations will get the opportunity to attend the history of the war,” as stated from this association.
