Mostar Plenum Determined Ten Demands and Formed Coordinating Committee

mostarAt the Plenum of the citizens of Mostar, which was attended by around 200 people, a coordinating committee was formed, and ten demands were determined, which will be sent to the relevant institutions.

The Plenum of the citizens of Mostar demand the resignation of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, elimination of funding of political parties from the state budget, audit of privatization, determining the origin of property, adopting a law on confiscation of illegally acquired property in the FB&H, amendment to the electoral law, adoption of a new statute of the city of Mostar and calling for local elections, abolition of reimbursement and benefits to politicians and harmonization of their salaries with the average workers’ salary, formation of committee to normalize the situation in Mostar, adopting a law on social protection, protection of victims of war and parents with children in a financially disadvantaged situation, and the abolition of the statute of limitations for crimes of war profiteering and post-war privatization.

‘’Citizens of Mostar voted to elect the coordinating committee of the Plenum of citizens, which would directly work on the implementation of adopted conclusions and contact with all relevant institutions’’, said in a statement for journalists a member of the coordinating committee of the Plenum of citizens Zdravko Puvača.
