Stickers which are issued during vehicle registration will become unavailable in FB&H in several days. As the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of B&H confirmed, the solution was found and there will be no problems during vehicle registration.
Namely, a meeting of representatives of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of B&H was held on Monday. At the meeting, it was agreed that certificates are temporarily issued instead of stickers.
When the Council of Ministers of B&H adopts the proposals by the Ministry, the relevant ministries of internal affairs will be able to issue temporal certificates already as of next day. IDDEEA will only need to make changes in unique information system, where the part which refers to issuance of stickers should be replaced with the issuance of certificates.
When it comes to cantonal ministries of internal affairs, it was confirmed that stickers are still available and that there were no cases where vehicle registration was stopped due to lack of stickers. The most critical situation is in the Canton 10, where stickers might become unavailable as of January 1 already.
At the 31st session held on November 12 this year, the Council of Ministers of B&H tasked the Ministry of Transport and Communications to, in order to timely resolve the problems related to sticker supply, propose adequate solutions until the end of the procurement procedure and to notify the bodies relevant for vehicle registration about their solution.
