Upon the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday reached a Decision on presenting the State Sports Award of B&H for 2014.
The first award, for lifetime achievement, amounting to 8,000 BAM was presented to Vahidin Musemić, for the won silver medal in 1968 at the football competition in the Cup of Europe with the then national team of Yugoslavia. As a player of FC Sarajevo, Musemić played 182 matches and scored 83 goals, which makes him one of the five best club strikers of all times.
The second award amounting to 7,000 BAM was presented to the Senior national team of B&H in sitting volleyball for several won medals at European and world competitions, among which is also the last golden medal at the World Championships in sitting volleyball, which was held in June 2014 in the Polish city of Elblag.
