historijski_muzej_bihThe Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo Dr. Ranko Čović will participate in an exhibition today at 11:00 on celebrating Vučko’s birthday in the B&H National Museum.

The student council of Gymnasium Obala, with students from other Sarajevo schools, gathered artifacts form the Winter Olympic Games 1984, which will be available to the public from 14 February to 25 February 2014.

Sarajevo City will buy 500 tickets in the amount of 1.000 BAM, which will be divided to students of high school and elementary school, in order to encourage young people to visit museums, theatres and exhibitions. Revenues from this project will be invested for the restoration of the roof of the National Museum.

The idea of this student project is that, in addition to marking this important event in the history of Sarajevo, to draw attention on the importance of cultural institutions and their role in the promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of B&H.
