Mostar Praised in Miami Herald

mostarRespected American newspaper ‘Miami Herald’ published an article on its Internet site on Friday in the travel section on the tourist potentials of Europe.

Author of the article Rick Steves, who wrote a series of travel guides and hosts radio and TV shows, recommended a number of places in his article for ‘Miami Herald’ on must-see places in Europe.

He mentions places such as Brussels, Paris, Spain, Germany, island of Corfu, the Alps, and Mostar.

‘’My main goal when travelling is to establish contact with local people. When the opportunity for that arises, I immediately grab it. You drive next to the cheese festival in Sicily? Stop your car, get out and try the cheese. You are strolling around Lakes District in England and stumble in the pub for a drink? Do not sit by yourself. Sit near the locals and listen to them speak. You are in Mostar during dinnertime? Go towards the Old Bridge and be the first American tourist to eat in a new local restaurant’’, writes Steve in the ‘Miami Herald’.
