Mostar Sizzles as Temperatures Soar to 41 Degrees, Hottest in the Country

In Bosnia and Herzegovina today, it will be mostly sunny. Local showers are expected in Bosnia in the afternoon.

Air temperatures measured at 2:00 p.m.: Ivan-sedlo 31; Bihać and Sanski Most 32; Tuzla 34; Drvar, Jajce and Livno 35; Bugojno, Sarajevo and Zenica 36 and Mostar 41 degrees.

Tomorrow, Herzegovina will be mostly sunny. Bosnia will be moderately cloudy. In the afternoon, Bosnia will experience local showers with thunderstorms, which may be more abundant. Showers are expected mainly in the western, central and eastern regions of Bosnia.

Winds will be weak to moderate, in Bosnia from the eastern and northeastern direction, and in Herzegovina from the southern and southwestern direction.

The lowest morning air temperature will be mostly between 14 and 19, in the south of the country up to 25 degrees. The highest daily air temperature is mostly between 31 and 35, in the south of the country up to 41 degrees.

In the Sarajevo area, showers with thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. The lowest morning air temperature is around 17, and the highest daily temperature is around 34 degrees, the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
