Mostar Youth Theater 1974 will start celebrating its 40th anniversary on 24 February.
The opening of a new scene of the Mostar Youth Theater 1974 is planned within the celebration, together with a series of activities. According to this theater, this scene has great importance because it is dedicated to all the citizens of Mostar who died in the last war, and will be titled “Memorial scene 2532”.
“This is the first monument dedicated to those who died in the war in B&H, which represents reconciliation, tolerance and love”, said Mostar Youth Theater-1974.
The premiere of the play “Othello”, based on the text of William Shakespeare, text adaption by Ljubica Ostojić will be performed immediately after the scene opening. Robert Pehar, Ajla Hamzić, Rok Radiša, Amra Prutina, Bojan Kolopić and Rijad Gvozden will star in this show. Sead Đulić is the director of the play.
The official opening of “Memorial scene 2532” starts on Monday, 24 February, at 19:30.
