Mother of Four, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, killed in Vienna

Austrian media reported that Jasmila, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, mother of four children, was killed in Vienna, as a result of a custody dispute with her ex-partner.

The incident happened in the suburbs of Vienna, when Jasmila was shot in the head in front of her family’s villa, reports oe24. The suspect is her former partner, a 35-year-old citizen of Sweden, who was also born in BiH.

The media reported earlier that Jasmina came from a well-to-do family of private entrepreneurs, while the suspect worked as a real estate agent.

According to reports, the suspect, after killing his ex-wife Jasmina with a shot to the head, got into his sports car and then fled. He later turned himself in at the police station in Deutsch-Wagram. The suspect already had a restraining order against Jasmila, and as of January 2022 he was also prohibited from carrying weapons.

He is currently in custody, and at the trial he will probably talk about his motives for killing his ex-wife.

As the media reported yesterday, the two clashed over the custody of their 9- and 13-year-old children, Klix.ba reports.
