Dodik: What Attitude do the Authorities in Sarajevo have towards the Serbs?

After the hearing in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik went to the old Orthodox cemetery nearby to show the negligence of Sarajevo’s communal services, however, the cemetery is owned by the Serbian Orthodox Church. Now he brought his utility workers.

On his official profile on X platform, Dodik announced that members of the Republican Administration of Civil Protection of the RS and the Communal Enterprise “Rad” from East Sarajevo mowed and arranged the old Orthodox cemetery located near the Court and Prosecutor’s Office building in Sarajevo.

“What attitude the authorities in Sarajevo have towards the Serbs and our holy places can best be seen by how neglected and devastated the cemetery was,” said Dodik on that occasion.

However, according to earlier information and statements, the cemetery belongs to the Serbian Orthodox Church, and considering that it is a cemetery that is more than 70 years old, many who are buried there today do not even have living descendants who would maintain individual grave sites.
