Sanski Most, the city of nine rivers, is preparing a rich tourist offer this summer. From natural beauties and picnic areas to concerts, sports events and outdoor manifestations, the content is diverse and adapted to the different interests of visitors.
The first effects of the summer season are already visible. The arrival of the diaspora, but also a slight influx of tourists, is noticeable on the city streets, picnic areas and in catering facilities. The citizens and visitors we spoke with point out that Sanski Most has a lot to offer.
“It’s great! Whenever we come, we make sure to stop by here two or three times. It’s beautiful,” said visitor Elvira.
“There are plenty of beaches and swimming pools, but also places worth visiting, such as the Zdena Spring and the Bliha Waterfall,” said Ešrefa.
Natural beauties as an asset
The Bliha Waterfall is one of the most impressive natural phenomena in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its beauty attracts an increasing number of tourists from year to year, and precisely these localities represent the backbone of the development of Sanski Most’s tourist offer.
“The Bliha waterfall is 56 meters high. What is fascinating is that the Bliha river is only 24 kilometers long and flows into the Sana river, and at the same time creates such an impressive waterfall,” explained the director of the Sanski Most Tourist Board, Haris Omerbegović.
Apart from the Bliha waterfall, Dabarska and Hrustovačka caves, Bobijaško oko and the Sana river stand out among the most attractive localities. The city on nine rivers is also known for sport fishing, which offers lovers of this sport a combination of recreation, rest and being in nature.
Summer full of events
The summer offer is further enriched by numerous outdoor events. A special atmosphere in recent days has been created by the euphoria surrounding the performance of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at the World Cup.
“At DTV Partizan, we have tried to revive that space and are broadcasting all the matches of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at the World Cup,” said Omerbegović.
The central part of the tourist season is expected during July and August, when the largest influx of visitors is expected. In addition to natural beauties, the focus will be on concerts, cultural events, and entertainment and sports content.
