The Mountain Rescue Service – Sarajevo Station yesterday successfully completed the rescue operation of an injured foreign citizen on Bjelašnica.

Namely, the foreign citizen suffered an open leg fracture when falling from his motorbike, and the accident occurred at the Bjelašnica site, above the upper reservoir.

“After we received a report about the accident from the Emergency Medical Service, the on-call team immediately went to the field and the operation was carried out in record time,” GSS announced

The injured person was adequately cared for and safely transported to the nearest point accessible to the Emergency Medical Service vehicle, which took over further medical care.

The GSS thanked all team members for their professional and dedicated intervention.
