productionThe Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Information of Directorate for Economic Planning on perspectives for BiH in 2017 – 2019, in which was stated that due to the expected economic growth of partners of BiH and continuation of implementation of internal reforms, the economic growth of BiH could amount to 3.5 % in 2017.

At the same time, in 2018 was projected growth of 3.7 %, with slight strengthening of its rate to 3.8 % in the year of 2019.

With higher level of economic growth and increasing investments (both domestic and foreign) in the period from 2017 to 2019 is expected higher level of utilization of capacity and increase of industrial production by more than 5 %.

Predictions of the Directorate indicate that a more favorable environment, along with strengthening of export growth and employment growth in 2017, should lead to a strengthening of private investments, for which is expected slight positive growth after 2015, and a further gradual strengthening by the year of 2019.
