bau 2013Representative Office of the German economy in BiH (AHKBiH) organized in Sarajevo today a presentation of the fair for construction and architecture materials and systems BAU 2015 at which visitors and exhibitors from BiH will be present.

The fair will be held from January 19 to 24 at the premises of the Munich fair and the organizer is Messe München GmbH.

The BAU Fair, which has a 60-year-old tradition, developed the best information and communication platform in the last several years for planners, architects and construction engineers.

It is held every two years and four BiH companies participated in the fair in 2013 while more than a thousand visitors from BiH were registered.

Julia Wenzel, project officer for BAU 2015, said that more than two thousand exhibitors from over 40 countries will participate and that the number is limited because the demand is much higher than the pavilion area, although the fair is to take place in an area of 180,000 square meters in size (17 trade fair halls).

The greatest indicator for the popularity of this fair is the data that from 2005 it is permanently reserved and around 400 companies are on the waiting list.

The Inox Ajanović d.o.o. company from Tešanj has already applied for BAU 2015. This company also exhibited at the previous fair.

Within the promotion, Johannes Manger, PR person for the “BAU” Fair, said that this year’s fair is defined by three leading topics: intelligent urbanization, man and building and energy efficiency, while one of the key events at the fair is the “Long Night of Architecture”.

BAU is one of the leading global fairs in its branch and it presents architecture, materials and systems for decorating business, residential space and the interior in new and existing buildings.

The fair connects market leaders in the industry every two years in an exhibition which unifies craft and construction works.

Topics that are future-oriented and sustainable building adapted for generations play an important role in all the exhibition areas.
