The Municipal Court in Lukavac ordered a one-month detention for the father of the boy who shot a teacher at the Elementary School “Lukavac Grad” on Wednesday.

He is suspected of the criminal offense of “Neglecting or abusing a child or minor” and the criminal offense of “Unauthorized acquisition, possession and sale of weapons and essential parts for weapons”.

Let us remind you that the gun from which the 13-year-old shot, according to the investigation so far, belonged to his deceased grandfather, and the boy’s father did not hand it over to the police according to the procedure.

In this case, the police became alarmed only after the tragedy, when they searched the house by order of the court and the prosecutor’s office, and also arrested the boy’s father.

According to the FBiH Criminal Code, this minor cannot be held criminally responsible for what he did.

As previously explained by the Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton, legal provisions require that the entire event must be documented, and all competent institutions will submit their reports to the Prosecutor’s Office, Klix.ba reports.
