The Museum “Alija Izetbegovic” records an Increasing Number of Visitors

Museum Alija IzetbegovicOn the occasion of 91 years since the birth of the first president of BiH, Alija Izetbegovic, the Museum “Alija Izetbegovic”, is organizing the event “‘Open Door Days” which will be held from the 8th to 10th of August.

This institution, as stated, has recorded increasing number of visitors, mostly organized school visits.

Director of the Museum, Adnan Zisko, noted that the Association of Artists of BiH and the Museum “Alija Izetbegovic” are organizing the 4th Art Colony “My Escape to Freedom”, in memory of the first president of the Presidency of RBiH, Alija Izetbegovic.

The colony will be held from the 24th to 30th of September in Pocitelj.

In the past period, the art colony was attended by 60 artists from Denmark, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Palestine, South Korea, Macedonia, Croatian, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and BiH.

Charity auction of paintings is planned after completion of the art colony.
