Music scene ‘Kaktus’ in amphitheatre of Dom Mladih

From April to July 2013, in amphitheatre of Dom Mladih in Sarajevo, there will be concerts as a part of the project of Music scene ‘Kaktus’ which has the aim to incite the development of BiH urban music scene.

With the intention of reviving the tradition of former renowned club ‘Kaktus’ which existed until 1992 as a part of Dom Mladih, where many BiH bands performed, in the period to come 14 concerts will be held every Friday with well-known BiH musicians, but also bands of the new generation.

This series of concerts will start on Friday, 5 April and it will end on 5 July 2013. At every concert one renowned bend will perform and at least one promising band, but also DJs which will entertain the audience before the concerts start, and in breaks of the concerts as well as after concerts.

On 5 April, Friday, Sarajevo band Billy Andol, duo Basheskia and Edward EQ will perform. The entrance ticket for this concert which starts at 8.30 p.m. is 5 BAM, 2 BAM drink included.

In the period to come bands Letu Štuke, Vela Havle, Erogene Zone, KZU Ole, Ole & PZU Ole, Ole, Killing Jazz Hard Core Baby, Skroz, Zoster, Sopot, Konvoj, Diskobajagi, Edo Maajka, Frenkie, Validna Legitimacija, Vuneny, Sikter, Grof Đuraz, Kontra DJs, Dvadesetorica will perform.

The project is realized by AR Forum and Foundation Sarajevo Navigator in cooperation with KSC Skenderija. Sponsors of the project are ‘Sarajevsko pivo’ and ‘Coca-Cola’ and media partners are Antena Sarajevo and Klix.ba
