Today, Elvedina Muzaferija will make history as the first female skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina to compete in the final of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
Behind her is an excellent season in which she managed to win the final of the World Cup in two disciplines. Today she is expected to perform in the super giant slalom, and Muzaferija will start with starting number 19.
On the eve of the last super-giant slalom race of the season, Muzaferija is in 23rd place and with today’s good ranking, she could “squeeze” into the top 20.
The first in the overall standings in this discipline is Lara Gut Behrami from Switzerland, who has a great chance to win in this discipline after the big crystal ball. She is currently 69 points ahead of the Austrian Cornelia Huetter and 74 points ahead of the Italian Federica Brignone, and the fight for the small crystal globe will take place between those three skiers today.
For today’s race, which should start at 10 a.m., 21 skiers are registered, and 15 of them will win points.
