Congratulations from Montenegro for BiH’s new step towards the EU

The President and Prime Minister of Montenegro congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European Council’s decision to open accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, said that this is a big step on the country’s path to the EU.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished success in the negotiation process.

“This is an important day for both the region and the enlargement policy, and the most important for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Montenegro stands strongly with all its neighbors on the path to our common future in the European Union,” wrote the Prime Minister on the “X” network.

Let us remind you that at the session of the European Council in Brussels, EU leaders decided to give the green light for opening negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
