Names of BH Participants at the Olympic Games announced

tukaA total of 11 BH athletes, participants of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, will be officially presented tomorrow at the Olympic Committee of BiH (OC BiH).

At this Olympics, BiH will have the most numerous team in history. Colors of BiH will be defending following: athletes Amel Tuka, Hamza Alic, Kemal Mesic, Mesud Pezer, Lucija Kimani; tennis players Damir Dzumhur and Mirza Basic; swimmers Amina Kajtaz and Mihajlo Ceprkalo; judoka Larisa Ceric and shooter Tatjana Djekanovic.

Coaches will travel with athletes and the Olympic delegation will consist of 24 persons.

“Amel Tuka put his professional masseur on disposal to the whole team, so for the first time, we will be a complete Olympic delegation with all supporting contents,” said the Secretary General of OC BiH, Said Fazlagic.

For the first time, BiH is going to the Olympics with great ambitions, including a wish to win a medal. The most is expected from the athlete Amela Tuka and judoka Larisa Ceric.

For the first time on the Olympic Games, two BH tennis players will perform, since Mirza Basic received an invitation as well.
