In the manner of good hosts, the Ambassador Edward and his wife Carolynn Fergusson welcomed the guests at the entrance to the National Museum of BiH.

At the same time, the British Embassy in BiH marked 400 years since the death of one of the largest writers in the world, William Shakespeare. This anniversary is also being marked with the global campaign #ShakespeareLives.

Ambassador Fergusson held a speech in English and in Bosnian language as well, reminding of the important moments in history which are characteristic for the rule of the Queen Elizabeth II. Moreover, Fergusson also spoke about the significance of Shakespeare for the world civilization.

Ambassador Fergusson greeted the citizens’ movement I am Museum, which resulted in the reopening of the umbrella museum institution in BiH.

In the end of an interesting speech, the Ambassador Fergusson made a toast, wishing that the 95th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is celebrated in a similar way.
