sutjeskaThe oldest and largest national park in BiH, National Park Sutjeska, is becoming increasingly attractive and better destination that is visited by thousands of people from around the world with its rich rivers, glacial lakes, and wilderness. With the construction of new restaurants and two villas and reconstruction of roads, ski slopes, and ski lifts, NP Sutjeska will improve its contents for its visitors.

“The restaurant will have a capacity of 150 seats, and two more exclusive villas with about 35 beds are currently in the construction. These villas will contain a small spa area with sauna, which is the most luxurious content that NP Sutjeska had from its establishment until today”, said the director of NP Sutjeska Dejan Pavlovic.

Besides new villas, restaurants, and roads, NP Sutjeska should also receive a new cable car and ski resort next year, which will significantly enhance winter tourism in this park, which has been neglected for years.

Thanks to the organization SERDA, NP Sutjeska now has 30 new mountain bikes that all lovers of nature and cycling can use for a tour of this rich region.

“All of our guests can rent a bike and take a ride on marked bicycle paths,” said Pavlovic.

This year, for the second time, the US Embassy in BiH has approved the project of a multi-ethnic school that is held in NP Sutjeska for children from the surrounding municipalities in this part of BiH.

One of their biggest goals, says director Pavlovic, is to attract visitors and investors from abroad who are visiting the park every year.

“All healthy investors are welcome in the National Park Sutjeska. We have constant visits of foreign investors who are interested in investing in the park. We can expect positive things to certainly happen in the future,” concluded Pavlovic.
