Amel Tuka, winner of the bronze medal in Beijing, performed yesterday at a training meeting in Trent, Italy.
Precisely Tuka’s performance drew the most attention. Competition disciplines in which Amel Tuka performed are unofficial non-Olympic disciplines. He performed in races of 300 meters and 600 meters.
Looking at the results achieved and considering the strong wind, we can only imagine what performances of Amel Tuka will look like at the European Championships in Amsterdam and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, as well as at meetings that will precede these competitions.
In the race of 600 meters, Tuka also ran the best national result and won the first place. In the moment of passing the end line, the scoreboard showed the time of 1:16,09. Tuka left behind his team colleague, the Slovenian Žan Rudolf, who ran the 600 meters in 1:17,05.
Tuka ended the race of 300 meters on the second place, running that section in 34,46 seconds, stated the Athletic Federation of BiH.
